Stupid habit I need to break
Laughing when something is funny, then looking around for affirmation to make sure other people are laughing too, and if they’re not laughing, stopping.

I saw Moonrise Kingdom a second time (thanks, Mom*) on July 4th and the 60-something man sitting next to me kept looking at me whenever I would giggle or laugh. Which, honestly, wasn’t as often as I had during the first viewing, BUT WHATEVER. I just ignored him and kept laughing.
*My mom got so excited about the use of this song in the film that she exclaimed (louder than she meant to, I think) that she hadn’t heard it in years…
