My wonderful friend A got us on the guest list for Metric at Stubbs tonight.  I think we may even be able to watch from the VIP area! So I should be able to actually see them!

I didn’t mind so much not being able to see Band of Horses very well last Wednesday, since the sound was great and I’ve seen them live two times before from great seats.  But this is my first time to see Metric, even though I’ve been a fan for about 5 years now.

It’s strange that this is my second concert in a week’s time.  There are usually months between concerts I attend.

Factory by Band of Horses

I’ve been listening to these guys on Spotify all day to prep myself for their concert tonight.  I love this album and the two before it, but Mirage Rock (their most recent album) just doesn’t do much for me. 

At least I know they’ll be wonderful in concert! I’ve seen them twice before.  This will be the first time I’ve not been sitting to watch them, and also the first time to see them outside (and it will be 50ish degrees tonight).
