I liked the dumb line that Ron just now became the anti govt head of a Parks department
I read that and was like, SRSLY? He’s been the anti-government head of the Parks Department FOR FOUR SEASONS NOW. Now it may have previously been just a title, I could understand that argument. But the way it’s stated in the recap just made me think about the writer: your argument is invalid and now I don’t think you really know anything about the show enough about the show to write recaps.
I have to keep this in mind now that the Emmys have snubbed both Nick Offerman (AGAIN) and the series. (At least Poehler got a nom?!)
Well, Happy Endings got no Emmy love either, and that was one of the funniest shows on TV this year.
These stills are from a sketch I wrote for MAD (along with Marly) titled Jurassic Parks and Recreation. Regardless of the sketch’s quality, I am immensely happy that a major corporation paid to broadcast an image of Ron Swanson riding a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
