My dad mentioned that he and Mom saw the trailer for this movie before The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and he recognized the actress* (Rashida Jones, obvs) from my showing him Parks and Recreation seasons 2 & 3 on DVD.
He was like, her luck with guys isn’t any better (in the movie).
I was ecstatic when he told me this. I said, “My work here is complete.”
*My mom doesn’t care for Parks and Rec (disappointing, I know), but recognized her from that Who Do You Think You Are? show.
