[Statesman: New bar, restaurant open at site of old Jaime’s Spanish Village] I love that they kept the old painting from Jaime’s (you can see it in this photo).  My parents took us to the former restaurant all the time when we were kids.  Jaime and his wife were so sweet to us.   Obviously I have fond memories of the old place, but the quality of the food had gone way downhill in recent years and it just wasn’t worth visiting for memories’ sake.  Plus, the family members weren’t around anymore. So I’m glad there’s a new restaurant there that looks to be somewhat along the same lines and that they kept the bones of Jaime’s old place.

I love that they kept the old painting from Jaime’s (you can see it in this photo).  My parents took us to the former restaurant all the time when we were kids.  Jaime and his wife were so sweet to us.
